Strings began to act very strange after the update

• Nov 11, 2024 - 14:03

Is it just me, or is this everyone's problem? I've just updated the strings, and now all of them are behaving strangely—pizzicato sounds appear here and there, even though there shouldn't be any pizzicato in the score at all!

Absolutely. Previously they had this weird glissando that made the solo strings almost unusable, and they never fixed it. Now ensemble strings are complete unusable. Is incompetence a reasonable explanation for all of this?

Now it seems fixed.
Out of the blue my score was getting what sounded like "col legno" ...could not control it. All texts for "arco" and "pizz" were ignored. Quite a mess.

I had just lost my woodwinds upon update to 4.4.3 and cannot recover them. Each attempt yields "Unknown Error; could not complete download".

I just had seen a MuseHub update about fixes, so I clicked on it. I cannot find what version of MuseHub I have, if that makes a difference.

Okay. In my "Downloads" folder there sits a file Muse_Hub(4)EdV_WHpE.exe. I have no idea what it is and only just discovered it. It is a PART file. 41,000KB.
Could this be it, I wonder. If so, why did the download fail? Why didn't the others (strings, etc) end up here?
I cannot open (with default Applications\firefox.exe)
Do you have a suggestion?

FYI - I was able to finally get my woodwinds back - I downloaded in the early morning thinking it might be a low traffic time. I immediately noticed my speed increased and it worked.
I cannot be sure if it was a fix or the MS team did something, but I thought this might be useful to know.
