Toggle Measure Advance
Musescore 3 had the ability to toggle the measure advance in the toolbar. I frequently used this toggle, as I want to advance to the next line when entering lyrics, but not notes. How do I turn auto measure advance off? I'd rather just have it off all of the time if that's my only option. Thanks.

I'm confused! When you fill the measure, of course it moves on to the next measure. I'm afraid that I don't understand what you want.

At a line break it would advance automatically when I wasn't finished adding notes to a chord on the last beat of the bar. Then I would have to scroll back to the last measure I was working in, add notes, then repeat each time I would add a note to a chord. So OF COURSE I didn't want that to happen. Anyway, I found the command. It's called "pan score automatically" under settings in the toolbar. I use pan score for lyrics, but not notes.
Another question if I may When I open Musescore 4 the home screen shows several recent versions of a score that I was working on. I only need to see one- the most recent one. Is there a way delete the ones I don't need to see from the home screen? For the time being I went back to Musescore 3 because this is really annoying and a time waster.
Thanks.

There's already an open issue for this: https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/issues/11235#issue-1207262020.

Don't "scroll back to the last measure" when this happens, use the left arrow key instead: much easier. (assuming you are entering notes from the keyboard, that is :-)
