MuseHub App Issue

Hello,
For some time now I have noticed an issue where sometimes I am unable to see the MuseHub sounds when I open MuseScore, but other times they show.

Today I realized what the issue is. If I open the MuseHub app and then open Musescore, the MuseHub sounds are not enabled. I have to close both, MuseScore and MuseHub and then only open MuseScore, but leave MuseHub closed, then the sounds become available in the Mixer. Screenshot 2025-03-28 224957.jpg

Is this normal behavior?
It seems odd to me that in order to use the MuseHub sounds, the MuseHub app needs to be closed.

I have the latest version, MuseScore v4.5.1.25, but this issue has been there for a very long time.
I just happened to notice what the issue was/is.

Any ideas?

I don't think it's normal behavior, but most of us explicitly stop the MuseHub app all the time ... except when we are actually downloading new sounds.

Everything. Everything with a slider. There are options to automatically keep sounds up to date. That's up to you. But updates when you least expect it can slow down your computer. When you open the hub, there will be a notification of any updates. I just think it is better to do them when it is a good time for you.
