.mscz file turned into .mscz~ ? How can I change the file type?
One of my Musescore files was having issues uploading to my account as well as saving on my desktop. The file went from xxxx.MSCZ to xxxx.MSCZ~.
Is my file now corrupted? Can I not fix it? Is there some conversion software that can change the format of this document? Can customer support fix the document itself? Is there anything else that I can do?

Simply remove the tilde in your Windows Explorer or MAC Finder by renaming it

Can you give me a link to a walk through for that please? Thanks.

Meaning (and showing by that image I sent), the .mscz~ is not showing up when I select "Rename". There has to be some way for me to go into the actual file editor where I can edit the actual file property name. I looked all over the drop downs and couldn't find anything that led me to that.

Make the extensions visible!
This is always a good idea, even if Windows has hidden them by default. (For other operating systems I don't know ...)
You haven't stated your operating system so I am assuming it's probably Windows. This might be a temporary file that your system thinks is open and so you cannot access it like you would a normal file. Shut down MuseScore, then [Ctrl][Alt][Del] to bring up the Task Manager and see if anything MuseScore is still running and kill it. Now use your operating system's search facilities to try to find your file - this is not a MuseScore thing and if you don't know how to do such a search then you need to Google it.
