Saving to computer
I tried saving a score to my computer and got a message that the "operation is not permitted". How does one get past this?

If you aren't already, try a "Save As" to you scores folder.
Is this a score that you created? If it's from someone else, do you have permissions?
Thanks for the responses. The 'save as' trick worked. And yes, I'm working with an original score.

Personally, I always use Save As. Save over writes the old version in the folder of origin. Save As allows you to put the file where you want. Plus I add a version number after the title. Title 1. For the first time I save a new score. Then later I open it to do more work and then Save As, Title 2. And so forth. That way if I want to go back to an earlier version, I can. When the piece is done (are they really ever done?) I can delete the earlier versions.
