brass band instrumentation
It seems to be missing . No option in the brass menus for Eb tenor horn, or Eb and Bbb bass (tuba) - all written in transposed treble clef. other that that - im gradually getting the hang of it !

Look in "All instruments" rather than "Common". There is an entry for "Horn" with a drop down to select transposition. There doesn't appear to be a "Tenor Horn" entry though. But choosing Horn in Eb gives you a treble clef part in Eb.
You will also find Tubas in Eb and Bb treble clef.
Alternatively enter the instrument name in the search box
And see https://handbook.musescore.org/basics/setting-up-your-score#choose-inst…
If you're writing for many instruments, there is a Brass Band template and you can also create your own templates:

Trombones in treble clef are available
For tenor horn use the (French) Horn and select the Eb transposition.
You can change the name of the instrument that appears in the score in Staff properties
You can change the name of the part in the Parts dialogue

Probably depending of the language used, but i have a 'Alto Horn' in Eb in the options.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tenor_horn
The Tenor horn (British English; Alto horn in American English, Althorn in Germany; occasionally referred to as E♭ horn) is a brass instrument in the saxhorn family and is usually pitched in E♭
The range of a Alto (Tenor) horn is not the same as a (French) Horn in Eb
You can also customize, say, an F Horn, or a C tuba, whereas under "staff/part properties" you can rename the instrument, fix its transposition to E-flat and not F (or B-flat 8vb and not C), and go from there.
