Suggestions for Finnish translation

• Jan 11, 2010 - 10:54

I have a Mac OSX and I understood that the translator tools are only for Win/Lin.
Here are my suggestions for the leftmost pallette:
Grace Notes - Etuheleet
Rummut - Lyömäsoittimet
Key Signatures - Sävellajit
Time Signatures - Tahtilajit
Barlines - Tahtiviivat
Arpeggio & Glissando - Arpeggiot/glissandot
Breath & Pauses - Kesuurat/tauot
Sulut - Akkolaadit
Articulations & Ornaments - Artikulaatio/korukuviot
Noteheads- Nuottinupit
Toistot - Toistot ja hypyt
Breaks & Spacer - Katkot/lisätila
Palkin ominaisuudet - Palkitus

Hi Otto,

You can Qt Linguist for Mac OS as well. Once you have done so, download the latest mscore_fi.ts from the repository and open it in QT Linguist. Add or update the translation and once you've finished, you attach you ts file to a comment on this topic. In case you wish to test your translation, we advice you to download and install a MuseScore 0.9.6 prerelease: use QT Linguist to export the ts file to mscore_fi.qm (File > Release as ...) and place that qm file in the MuseScore directory.
