Repeat last entered note

ClassicalGuitare on the french forum suggests an interesting feature which can speed up note entry for some people : Have a command in note entry mode to enter the pitch of the last entered note.
For example R could be map to this action.
If you enter 5CRRR you have 4 quarters notes.
If you enter 5C4RR5R you have one quarter, 2 eights, one quarter.

Used in conjonction with the arrow key, you can setup a scale easily with two hands without moving fingers.
