low notes get combined in bass...?
Hi! I need a little help here. I'm not an experienced musician, for one, so I may not know the terminology to tell you what is going on, BUT I have screen shots.
I'm trying to manual import sheet music and having trouble with some chords. The right hand notes automatically attach to the left hand notes and I don't know how to just keep them attached to the notes in the treble clef. It will give me 3 lines below the treble clef and then switch, so that suddenly I'm putting the note higher than I want... so I try putting it in the bass clef and then it just attaches to the other bass notes... sigh. How do I do this? Thanks!

Using a mouse, right? You could enter them higher, then move down with the arrow keys.

Oh arrow keys, good idea! I did that, I put them higher and moved them, and that worked. :-D
Or enter the notes usingyour computer keyboard instead of the mouse (eg, type "A" to get an "A").
