Footnote staves
Is it possible to add numbered "footnote" staves at the end of a composition as possible indicators of an alternate notation or possible error at certain points in the original manuscript ?

I do not know if there's a more effective way, Take a look at:

You can add a vertical frame (and in it a horizontal frame) for the footnote.
