C chord name in Italian (and other languages...)
Hi,
I would like to submit a bug of MuseScore 2.0.
Trying to write the 'C' chord in italian ('Do') with the standard CTRL-K sequence I get the 'Ddim' chord string instead.
In italian (and also in French), the chord is currently called 'Do' but apparently it is impossible write it in this form.
The only possible workaround is writing the chord as 'DO' (capitals) but it is ugly...
It would possible to eliminate this annoying problem?
BTW, I found the same identical behaviour in the Sibelius family...

"Do" should work. Go to Style > General > Chord Symbols > Choose "Note Spelling": Solfeggio.
BTW, MuseScore 2.0 shouldn't have turned "Do" into "Ddim" unless you were using one of the old obsolete 1.3 chord description files. Don't use those any more; they are only for backwards compatibiltiy for old scores. New scores should use either the "Standard" (default) or "Jazz" style, not one of the old obsolete files selected via "Custom" style.
So assuming you aren't using an obsolete chord description file, "Do" shuld have remained "Do" - but indeed, *internally* it is understood as a D diminished chord by default, and won't transpose properly. The option lasconic mentions solves that.
