Thank you so much for the valuable contribution.
I have extracted the files inside musescore2/plugins
on the navigation bar menu Now & under "Plugins" I see Quarter Tone Playback
Then I have activate the plugin ( by checking it under "plugin manager"
when applied to a selected notes, it works very well
however
1) if I activate slahflat or slashsharp buttons the whole software ( musescore) stops working and force me to exit
2) I tried to customize an Arabic key signature with quarter note, but those accidentals have no effect even when ( advanced button under workspace) is activated.
3) also the new key signature ( created) never appears on the main palette
Thanks

Hello Phil,

1) I tested the plugin on two different computers and I haven't seen the behavior you described. Unfortunately I can't tell you what to do. Do other plugins work fine on your system?

2) The quarter tone accidentals have no effect in Musescore. This is known. That's why I wrote this plugin. If the plugin doesn't work, you can select each note and apply the tuning manually.

3) You have to open the Master Palette and click-and-drag the new created key signature onto the Main Palette (Key Signatures)

Hello,
I have created a new palette in a new work space
then I created a palette cell with two slash-flat as a key signature
saved the file/palette.
when used that key signature ( with middle eastern flavor) it has not effect whatsoever on the notes
It would be really nice if you could give me hint.
Thanks
