I'm on musescore1.3 I went
to play back a piece I wrote a few months ago and the sound intermittently fluttered and dropped out and back in. Tried reloading but it didn't correct the problem. Ideas?

Rebooting is never a bad idea. Could be some other process on your system interfering, and rebooting would clear that out. Also, you should definitely update to 2.0 - it's much improvemnt in too many ways to count.
