I am unable to use an edited instrument template. When I try to use that template, it gives me a warning saying that it is unable to read the file at line 1 column 1: error while pharsing element. Is there a way to fix this?
Don't assign to yourself unless you plan to fix yourself too. "Needs info" is indeed the correct status... We need more info about your problem, actually I have no idea what you are talking about. What is an "edited instrument template"? Whatever it is, can you attach it here, so we can have a look, maybe then it becomes clearer what you mean? What version of MuseScore, what operating system?
I guess though that this turns out to be a support question rather than a bug report, so should have been posted in the forum rather than in the issue tracker.
