Play/Don't play repeat does not have immediate effect

Using W Vista and rev 3090 the repeat button has no effect and scores with repeats do not play the repeat. Similar to r2935 except that in that previous report repeats were always played. Someone has tried to fix the earlier bug and generated the opposite one!

Duh? How is this a repeat? 5229 claims repeats are ALWAYS played - my report states that they are NEVER played. Explain please!
