Template makings
I did figure out how to make templates. However, those templates show up as a document in the start center. I just wish what ever's saved under templates won't show up under documents. Also, I need help learning the implode tool.

I don't know how to select two or more staves.
You can remove the templates you created from the recently opened scores list by going to the File menu and choosing Open Recent -> Clear Recent Files.

Wouldn't clear recent files mean deleting them to the recycling bin?

No, it just means clearing the list, so next time you visit the recent files list, it is empty. The files themselves are still there.
