Semi-breve lines
I think because the note heads are a bit bulkier, they start to overgrow the length of the line and I find it a bit uncomfortable to read.
May I suggest that either the lines are made longer (clear penetration each side), or the note heads reduced slightly in size.

Will the corrections also be applied to other operating systems? I've only ever used MuseScore on a Mac (although I do have a PC which I use for other things).

When a bug is currently active, but when it is marked as fixed it general applies to all operating systems. It is always a good idea to check new fixes when a new prerelease comes out. Operation-specific bugs are relatively rare.
