Articulations properties window – what does it do?
Right-clicking on some score elements allows you to open an "articulation properties" window. This has two boxes: (1) Channel and (2) MIDI action. How are these used? There is nothing in the manual as far as I can see.

A similar dialog shows in the middle tab of staff/system text properties
They both depend on configuration in the instruments.xml currently not documented and not used in the default instruments.xml

If Midi Actions are configured in instrument.xml, they seem to work in staff text, but not in articulation although visible. A channel change in articulation properties doesn't seem to work but works well in staff text.
