Select all Similar
Using the released 2.0 on Mac Mavericks. Select all similar was JUST NOT DOING ANYTHING. Someone suggested I revert to factory presets using that terminal thingy. So I did. It had a lot of complaining

but it did seem to reset everything and forget all my custom shortcuts. I was working on this score that had been saved with MuseScore 1.2 attached. What I want to do is make the font size bigger on lyrics odd lines, select all the lyrics using select all similar and then do reset text to style I CAN'T DO IT! IT WON'T DO IT! My only option seems to do it one syllable at a time. NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Does all that technobabble give any clue? Please what can I do? I know this has worked in the past. But it has failed on the last three or four scores I have loaded, whether they were saved as 1.2 or not, and before and after the factory preset.

If the shortcuts were reset, then it seems the revert operation succeeded, so I guess ignore the messages. MuseScore does indeed normally write some status messages to the console; you just normally don't see them
Anyhow, your score seems fine to, and Select all similar works fine for me. So can you describe *precisely* what you are doing - step by step - and say at what point something happens or doesn't happen to lead you to beleive something is wrong?
Here is what I did
1) open your score
2) right click the first lyric
3) choose Select / All similar elements from the context menu
4) verify all lyrics turn blue, indicating they are selected
5) press the "Reset Text to Style" button in Inspector
At this point, all lyrics are now in MuseJazz font. The size does not change, but nor do I expect it to, but the text style for lyrics in this score is only 10pt. If you want them larger, then after the "Reset Text to Style", you would need to actually change the text style - eg
1) right click the first lyrics
2) choose Text Style from the context menu
3) change the size in the Text Style dialog from 10pt to 12pt
4) press OK
I just tried that, and this worked perfectly too - all lyrics changed from 10pt to 12pt. Note that "Select all similar" is not relevant here - once you have reset all lyrics to style, then any chanmges to the text style for lyrics automatically affect all lyrics whether selected or not - that's the whole point of the new Text Style facility.
If you are doing or seeing something different, again, please post the precise step by step instructions and say exactly at which step you see something different from what you expect, and describe what you expected and what you saw instead.
