Does not drop the open recent button on the File menu while hovered/pointed by the mouse, does not even respond the button if clicked.

Have you had files opens in the session before? I believe the files.open in the current session show up in that menu only in the next sessions

This is the correct behavior if you didn't open anything in MuseScore yet. Which is probably the case for you in a nightly. I close this issue, reopen if needed.

Also, please provide the version of MuseScore you use, the OS and version, etc... when you report a bug. You can use Help > Report bug to have this set up for you.
