Importing MuseScore files into other MuseScore files.
Can you actually import MuseScore files into another MuseScore file? If so, how do you do it? I am trying to make a song where this other MuseScore file is supposed to be played after the previous song is played. I don't know if you understand what I am trying to say. Someone please answer this.

You can open both the scores and then use copy and paste from one to another, see also https://musescore.org/en/handbook/view-modes#more

If I copy and paste, the instruments are not correct. They just continue on with the same instruments.

first Edit/Instruments > add what is necessary;
then paste.
It should work.
If you are copying and pasting, note that not every element is copied. Time signature changes aren't copied, so if you have any, it is best to first manually insert time signatures first into some blank appended measures before copying notes over.
I have been importing files that I had produced in an earlier version of Musicscore into v2.2. but there is a problem with the lyrics, they don't work properly. Nether can I correct them without distortion.
The update version is on my Windows 7 laptop.
I am attaching a MuseScore copy.
I hope that some one can direct me on how to correct the lyrics in the score to be under the correct nots.
I have not been able to get around to the v2.2 to date.

By leveraging the new functionality, available on Nightly:
I copied the lyrics over Notepad.
By following the instructions you find here: https://musescore.org/en/node/21522
maybe you can reinsert them. If there is a better way, unfortunately, I do not know.

What do you mean when you say they didn't import properly? What specifically do you perceive to be a problem?
BTW, there is no 2.2, the current version is 2.0.2. The next "major" version will likely be 2.1, and if you use a Nightly build, that is what it reports as (2.1.0 actually).

Some slurs have been extended wrongly (visualy, with the mouse, rather than via shift+arrow keys
This results in them being rendered badly in 2.0, but was wrong in 1.x already.
Some lyrics sylabls are missing the Melisma underscore) and one was on a differen line, manualy corrected to look as if it were in the right place.
Check the attached.
I suspect some of the lyrics might have been entered incorrectly in the old version of Musescore but without having the original score it is just my hunch.
Anyway, after resetting the position of all lyrics (right-click any lyrics, then select all similar elements and then press Ctrl-R), I have noticed that some syllables were entered as verse 2 and re-positioned manually (see Llifa'n towards the end of the hymn).
I have no idea how to split Welsh words but I have attempted to fix the score (see attached file). I also reduced the stretch to fit the hymn on one page (Layout / decrease stretch). Feel free to make proper corrections.

I suspect that you are corect, it is 2.01.
