Videotutorial in Czech - the subtitles update period

• Jul 26, 2015 - 07:25

Hi,

In the last days I've translated the last four lessons of videotutorial (8-11) to complete all the Czech subtitle texts in tutorials.

Lessons 9 to 11 are translated quite freshly, but the lesson 8 was finished already on 24. 7. Also do I remember it right, that the files are updated automatically, so after 24 hours it should be see on webpage, or is there further manual work needed on the side of developers/site maintainers?

If the answer is yes, for all cases, I would like to ask you for the update. Thanks.

Hi,

I have also been updating some translation for MuseScore and MuseScore is "not aware" yet of this update while I did update this yesterday. So think there is some background update process not working.

Hope someone can check this.

Thanks for fixing that. Any thoughts on when the MuseScore language updates will be back in place?
I am using version 2.0.2 and have not been able to update the dutch language since last week or so, however I did make several changes in it. The "Update" button for dutch simply is not enabled.

@pfri normally the upload is now done instantly. So when you update a translated string on Transifex and that string is part of a caption which is 100% translated, it will get immediately uploaded to youtube. Let me know if you feel this is not the case.

Hi,

some days before, and then after this message, I´ve experimented and changed some characters in Lessons 8-10: dot, comma etc. and saved it, but without visible change on web. See https://musescore.org/cs/. But the translation was and is 100 % complete.

Hi Pavel, you're correct. The listed video titles on musescore.org are not automatically picked up from Transifex. This is something I still do manually, and which you can manually as well. Just go to "Website strings" via the Translate block on the right on musescore.org, enter "Lesson 8" in the search field and press enter. Next you can enter/update the translation.

Hi there
this is a bit late.... but I have the same problem (in the greek version of the website, videotutorial's titles are still in english).

So now that I know this is a separate thing from transifex translation... can you please explain again to me the way I can translate the titles ?
(I can't see any "Translate block on the right on musescore.org" .... am I doing something wrong here ??)

regards
