Digital piano hook-up...

Hi Everyone,

I'm brand new and am thrilled about this software. I have a few questions (and I appreciate your patience with lack of technical expertise).

(1) What kind of cord do I need to connect my Yamaha P85 digital piano to my computer?

(2) With this software, can I play from my piano and have my music instantly notated on my computer? Or, is it more like a note-by-note entry thing?

1. You need a MIDI interface. Go to a good Music store, keyboard department.
2. Probably step by step, although there are methods to import more complex items into Musescore.
