Adding a chord that overlaps into the next bar

1) Create 4/4 piano score.
2) Insert quaver note.
3) Add a semi-breve after the quaver note.
4) Add a semi-breve below/above it (producing a chord).

Expected result: Chord is inputted with the length tied over into the next bar.
Actual result: Only one note is allowed (as it goes over into the next bar).

Not sure if it constitutes a bug, but I thought I'd bring it up.

Using 0.9.6.3 and Mac 10.4.11.
