Hi guys, I saved a transcription and did not add the mscz extension. Next time I tried to open it I got an error (unknown type) and musescore did not open the file. Renaming it with the extension solved the problem but I think this type of error can / should be prevented.
OpenSuse 13.2 - 64bit
MuseScore 2.0.1 rev 3543170
Hopefully no double post (could not find it using issue-tracker)

Well, it can't get prevented in a platform independant manner, Windows needs those extensions
Not sure about Mac and Linux.
Whatever it is, it surely isn't a bug, at best it is feature request, but I guess it is just by design.
