Something strange in note entry
Two errors here:
1. Create 4:4 piano score.
2. Enter the attached notes carefully (before
).
3. In note entry semiquaver (after entering all those notes), click on the final note.
First error: The width of the two notes narrows (after ). (Is it supposed to?)
Second error: After doing this a number of times, I find Apple+Backspace won't work now (even after restarting computer) - I have to go to the menu and delete the selected measures.
Also, I had previously seen a result similar to the first error (can't remember how to reproduce) in which the flag changes from being straight to slightly diagonal after clicking it. Does someone know what that would be?
Using Mac 10.4.11 and 0.9.6.3.
(I had trouble attaching images)
Comments
The first location of the finale note is incorrect. After clicking else where it corrects itself. Weird.
The default shortcut for deleting selected measures on Mac is Apple+Del not Apple+Backspace. Apple is somewhat opposed to forward delete keys so you may not have one on your computer, some apple keyboards even label the backspace key as Delete.
If you don't have a true forward-delete key you can use Fn+backspace instead. This would mean Apple+Fn+Backspace to delete the selected measure.

fn+apple now deletes.
Previously until last night (on an early 2007 Macbook - no delete button), I had been using the "backspace" (if that's what its called) that's to the right of the '+=' button, and Apple. I'd rather use that - something's obviously gone wrong.
Regarding the first error, are we able to deduce a report?
