Creating Duplets in 12/8
I have been trying to create a duplet that stretches over three eighth note beats in 12/8 time, but every time I try to create a duplet it only splits it up among two eighth note beats instead. I want to get it to where 4 quarter notes fill the first 6 beats of the 12/8 measure but nothing I have tried has worked.

If the end goal is 4 quarter notes over the space of a dotted half, just create that directly: select dotted half as the duration, then Ctrl+4.
Or, started with dotted quarter and press Ctrl+4, which will create fortuh eighths, but then simply enter two quarters.
