"Break multi-measure rest" can be set from score only and not from parts, right?

The headline says it all, I think: it is not possible to advise a bar to break a multi-measure rest as long as you are in a part. The respective checkbox is greyed out. One has to do that in the score.

I was just wondering if this is an intended behavior or maybe a "missing feature"?
