How to make hyphen in lyrics bigger/darker

• Feb 4, 2011 - 08:10

I am using MuseScore prelerase 1, on WINDOWS 7.

I am rewriting songs for our church to project onto a wall, using PowerPoint (Office).
I am so satisfied with the end result, BUT I would like to know what I can do to make the hyphen between the syllables darker or bigger. You will see in my attachment I did the first hyphen between the syllables we and reld by using a line. That is what I would like the other hyphens to be to make it more visible. They are so tiny! To replace every hyphen with a line will take me ages to do as I have about 4000 verses to do. Any suggestions?

Afrikaans is my mother tongue, English my second language. I hope I have expressed myself clearly.
Kind regards

From the main menu choose Style > Edit Text Style > Lyrics. Increase the text size to 22, to match the customizations you have made to the sizes of the individual syllables.

Thank you, that is working! The mistake I have made was to select the text> text properties> and changed that to the size I want. The text changed but the hyphens stayed small.

Kind regards
