request Tab in chord entry mode to move to next beat
Currently, chords are attached to beats, not notes (you can enter a note then delete it), but there is no way to actually enter a chord on a beat with no note. This would represent a huge usability improvement for people creating lead sheets. Just as "space" currently moves on to next note during chordname entry, I propose using Tab to move to next beat. Other implementations are possible, but this seems simplest and most elegant to me.

An even better variant of this was implemented for 1.1 - space moves to next chord *or* beat, tab moves to next *measure*. Unfortunately this doesn't work in 2.0; chords just cannot be attached to beat positions - only to notes. This was a huge advancement for 1.1 and made jazz charts feasible; we need to find a way to make this work again!
Since this worked in 1.1 and 1.2 but no longer works in 2.0, I am changing this from feature request to bug report.
