Microtonal Score Playback
Hi, I've just started to explore ways of notating microtonal music and I'm really struggling on trying to get microtonal intervals to play back on musescore 2. I'm not worried about writing idiomatically as I'm just purely experimenting out of curiosity. Does anyone know how to tune to different instruments to different "A"'s on the same score? Or at least some way I can get microtones to play back?

Sorry, I think I must be being thick but I still can't change this tuning, It just stops playing the note

What are you trying to change the tuning to? The default is 0. A value of 50 means 50 cents higher - a quarter tone. Are you by chance turning off the "Play" checkbox? That would indeed make the note not play :-)
If you continue to have trouble, please post the score you are having trouble with and describe the precise steps you are following. Should be as sijple as
1) click note
2) change "Tuning" to whatever you want in Inspector
When you click the note again, or play the score, you should hear the change.
