Play just one staff?

Hi! I can't figure out how to (easily) playback just one staff in my multi-staved MuseScore: am I wrong in assuming this is possible? (If not presently supported, I guess I'll have to submit a feature request.)

It is possible, just open the mixer and solo the Instrument you want to hear.
It is not possible though to play only one staff or a multi-stave Instrument, like piano.
It is also not possible to playback just one voice in a multi-voice staff.

Hi, I'm not sure if there is now a better way in Musescore to hear just the treble of bass clef separately? As you will know, this is very common way to learn to play two handed on the piano, and it is certainly vital for me as a beginner. I am indebted to the comment below to select the staff and just use F8 to temporarily turn off the selected notes. Obviously you had best keep track of which notes you turned off!. Since I'm going to be doing this a lot now, it occurs to me that this would be a really handy thing for Musescore to automate via a button or menu option, and turn on and off active colouring for the selected notes? Maybe someone already has with a plugin somewhere, or suggested it to Musescore already?

Hey thanks for this :) My mixer was somehow a much simpler one without any midi details or nice coloured tracks? I know, it sounds like I didn't expand the screen :) , but not so. Then when I pressed F10 after reading your linked documentation I got the new one and I could mute just one part of the staff. Awesome, and please ignore the extra post.

Actually maybe only a plugin "play selected notes" which you would map to a shortcut..
Pity I can't write plugins :(
Any help much appreciated.
