Musescore crashes when I try to make a note in odd rhythm and each of four snare drum parts has a different playback sound
I was trying to input a whole note into the end of my score. I had set a custom time signature of 11/16 in the Master Palette. The score consists of four snare drum parts, each assigned a different sound in Mixer.
In note entry mode, I placed a whole note into the top stave of the last measure, which Musescore automatically converted into a half note tied to a dotted eighth note. At this point, Musescore would crash within a few seconds. I saved the file before it crashed.
Whenever I reopen the saved file, Musescore immediately crashes when I attempt to enter a note in the second staff, unless I change the sound of the second snare drum back to the standard "drum kit" setting in Mixer. Then I can add notes as normal. (Same thing goes for the third and fourth staves.)
I'm not sure if the instrument choice and/or the odd time signature play a role in triggering the bug.
I've attached the Musescore file for your scrutiny.

Edit: Changing the instrument to another unpitched percussion instrument seems to avoid the problem. No crash happens even if the instrument's sound is changed in Mixer after changing the instrument but before entering a note. The odd meter (11/16) does not matter.

Hmm, subject to further verification (it's late here!), but it's probably a new duplicate of: #97416: Toggle between clefs of unpitched percussion and pitched percussion leads to a crash
Indeed, I observe above all the inability to enter notes in the three last staves.
And by changing the instrument in each of these staves (in Staff properties), so Snare Drum by... Snare Drum (unpitched percussion, ie different of a standard staff type), this possibility is restored in this file: Drums.mscz
Tell me if I'm wrong?
Firstly, could you please confirm if the mentioned issue above "talks" to you: #97416: Toggle between clefs of unpitched percussion and pitched percussion leads to a crash. By having mixed, in a some way, the staff types (unpitched vs. standard) of these staves of snare drum? And if yes, how (with steps)?
And, two, could you confirm that this file ("your" file, after changing instruments in Staff properties) works now for you as expected? Drums.mscz
I was able to reproduce issue #97416 that you provided. Although the two crashes appear in different ways, they seem interestingly similar. By the way, I don't remember putting pitched percussion in the file I posted (although there is a chance I did).
The Drums.mscz file works for me.
See, from your file, the staff types in the Instruments dialog:
Considering that you say: "By the way, I don't remember putting pitched percussion in the file I posted (although there is a chance I did).", and that "The Drums.mscz file works for me.", I mark this issue as a duplicate.
NB: this should not prevent you to remember how you did it, and specify the steps. Thanks.
