SFZ/Zerberus issue
Hi,
In addition to Salamander Grand Piano I've converted some of my files to sfz. Musescore seems to handle it fine (better than SF2 actually) when it comes to playing the SFZ instruments but:
- deleting an instrument, while removing it from the Synthesizer's Zerberus list, doesn't actually remove it, so you can still select in the mixer.
- adding a new SFZ doesn't refresh the Mixer's instrument list so you'd have to close/reopen it to see the new additions.
This are minor bugs that can be worked around, but thought I'd note it, in case they're easy fixes.
Thanks!
Sebastian

Can you submit two bug reports here: http://musescore.org/en/project/issues
Maybe the first one is already filled here #33976: Deleting a file in Zerberus doesn't work

Correct, I've added a comment to #33976: Deleting a file in Zerberus doesn't work and opened #43476: Adding a new instrument in Zerberus doesn't refresh the instrument list in the mixer.

Testing #33976: Deleting a file in Zerberus doesn't work, #1 after restarting the list got cleared.
How did you get your SFZ files to work in the first place? None of the SFZs from my Garritan Personal Orchestra library work with Musescore 2.0.

As far as I understand the SFZ samples from Garritan are encrypted and cannot be read by other sample players but the one provided by Garritan. See for example http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/loading-garritan-sample…
In the meantime you could try some non encrypted alternatives http://sso.mattiaswestlund.net/
This works beautifully now.. You can use any combination of SF2 & SFZ and removing any of those updates the Mixer real time as well. Excellent job! Thank you.
