Piano staff distance issues
Is there a way to increase the space between the treble clef staff and the bass clef staff? In one piece I'm writing, The note heads and beams overlap.

That setting most definitely does change the distance between staves in a piano part; if you are finding otherwise, please post the specific score you are having problems with and precise steps to reproduce. FWIW, in the US English version at least, it's *Grand*, not *Great*, Staff Distance. The regular "Staff Distance" is for staves of *different* instruments, so if that is what you tried, that would explain it. It has to be "Grand Staff Distance", or the equivalent in whatever language you are using.
ssuming you want to do it equally for all systems, then indeed, the style option is the way to go. If you just need to do it for specific systems, use a spacer from the Breaks & Spacers palette.
