Guitar Tablature Additional Features

I have 2 feature requests that will enrich the Guitar Tablature feature in the upcoming MuseScore 2.0 Release (Based upon my testing on Nightly Build - r4776)

1. Now there is no option to append string names on Tab, so it would be nice if there is an option to append string names in the beginning of the TAB notation.
2 . It would be also great if there is an option to convert standard notations into guitar tablature notations - real time or simultaneously - and automatically ( using split staff).

Regarding 2., last time I checked, it was possible to have both at the same time. See attached file.
You have to go to Create -> Instrument and add a linked staff.

By string names, do you mean the notes corresponding to empty string? (in some instruments, (some) strings have individual names).

Do you want them before the first stave only or before each stave?

Do you have an example of accepted/standard layout?

In any case, names changes by culture, language and, to some extent, music period. So, they should be customizable strings.

Yes you are right, the string names option should be customizable to any tuning that the musician wants. It would be enough if the string names appear only in the beginning of the Tab Notation (just once). Please check out the attached screenshot to know what I meant.

Here few other way to display the tuning, from PDF tab i use (btw it is Ukulele tablature)
Maybe the layout is more easy (i mean for devs) like that.

Tuning info (or whatever other info) in a piece of text is already possible with trunk:
* select the first note
* create a "staff text" or a "system text"
* write the proper text in it
* drag the text to a suitable position.

But something semi-automatic or something automatic when we import a tab (guitar pro) can be very usefull.
I understand it exists template, i dont yet check it, but it can improve them in such a cases.
