Disproportionate Instrument Names
I find that when I shrink the score (in Page Layout, to make it fit the page), instrument names with a flat symbol do not shrink. This makes my score look like someone cut up and taped various pieces of other scores. Is there a way to fix this that I'm missing? I don't really want to take out the flat symbol, nor do I want to replace it with a "b".
I have attached a sample of what I'm referring to.

There are definitely known issues (already reported in the issue tracker) on this topic. As text handling is completely revamped for the next major release, I'd guess this is already fixed. Meanwhile, it should work to delete the instrument entirely, then retype it. You can get the flat sign and other music symbols by pressing F2 while typing to display a symbol palette.

I'm not sure you can bring up the symbol palette while editing within the stave/part properties dialog. Or am I missing something? (I ended up inserting the flat sign into a separate text box, then copy-pasting it into the part name -- quite a hassle!)
It would be great to be able to invoke the symbol palette, and also other text tools, while working with part names. Perhaps this has been suggested already? If so, apologies for repeating. I'm new to the forums and may have missed things in my trawl so far.

You're right - I had forgotten F2 doesn't work in that dialog, and I had needed to copy and paste it the rlat when I did this. Actually, if I recall, I did it from Windows' Character Map accessory. I definitely agree F2 should work here.
