I am trying to get a first time repeat line to carry across 2 lines.
imagine 4 bars per line (thanks) and my first repeat line needs to go from bar 4 to bar 5, hope this makes sense. Or would it be 'presentable/acceptable' to use the 1st time repeat again?

And where is the problem? Just double click the 1sst repeat line to put into edit mode and then hit shift left arrow repeatedly to extend it to as maby bars as you like.

the problem was......... i didnt know how to do it, i didnt know i could double click to edit and i didnt know about shift left.

i have tried this but it takes the line off the page and not down to next line (stave), guess i will have to adjust my glorious 4 bars per line to fit it in. Any other suggestions

is the "reload" feature under "File". You will be prompted to save or not.
