This is should be update a feature for MuseScore. Sometime, it is very useful.
When do you need this? As I see this 2 quavers are always equal 3 triplet quavers, they are defined that way.

This is needed in a score when one wants to change the "feel" from straight eighths to swing.
Agreed that you occasionally want to use this, For the meantime, I use images - drag from file-system to score, shrink to desired size.

A PNG image may not print out very well; for guaranteed results in MuseScore, use SVG. This is what I use:

I tried PNG images from https://musescore.org/en/node/24434 first, but there were two problems. First, they didn't match MuseScore's tempo markings, and looked strange together (particularly, the = was generally very tiny). Second, they never printed correctly. I made this to solve both problems.

You could try this:
1) Download the rhytms fon at address http://hindson.com.au/info/free/free-fonts-available-for-download/. Install it!
2) Create a Tempo Mark (Alt+T).
3) Type the following text: ry = pqe
3) Without leaving the text frame press to select all text you typed.
4) In the text formating bar (botton of screen) change the font to Rhytms.
Voilà!
