Note name enty mode sounds incorrectly on ukulele tab
When entering fret numbers in fret number mode onto the ukulele TAB, the notes sound correctly and as entered. However if the format is changed to show note names instead of fret numbers, the four open strings (0, 0, 0, 0) show as a, a, a, a despite sounding as "My dog has fleas" when played. In note name entry mode, entering a, e, c, g (ie the open string names) turn into 0, 4, 2, 6 when shown in fret number mode. In note name mode, entering 1 on the a string, 2 on the e string, 3 on the c string and 4 on the g string shows the note names b, c, d, e -- and so the mis-match goes on... Most frustrating! For all the little kids learning to play the ukulele, it would be great if someone could fix this please.

Note names don't appear on frets, finger numbers (or letters) do. a=0, b=1 and so on.
edit: to enter notes you need to add a linked staff so you can enter notes on a standard staff that are translated to tablature on the lowest possible fret.

"In note name entry mode, entering a, e, c, g (ie the open string names) turn into 0, 4, 2, 6 when shown in fret number mode."
Because you made a confusion between the fret numbers/letters (ie: a = 0, open string, b= fret 1, c= fret 2, d= fret 3, e= fret 4, and so on), and the notes name (scale notes: A-B-C-D-E-F-G)
In standard notation, you never don't use numbers, right?! :)
So, for the Tab, consider that letters (a,b,c) don't correspond to the note names (A-B-C, or La-Si-Do for other countries) but to the location of frets on the tab, fret 1, or fret 2 etc.
So, either you enter notes in standard staff (with a linked Tab or not linked, as you wish), either you enter letters/numbers in a tab staff for locate the frets (with a linked standard staff or not linked, or by changing the staff type afterwards in the Instruments dialog box, I don't know how you proceed exactly)
