More information would help. What OS are you using? Are you just installing MuseScore for the first time? Did it ever work before? MuseScore should look like the picture you see on musescore.org when you visit the main page. Are you saying you aren't seeing the menu bar or the palettes or the sample score? Are ou sure it installed correctly and that you are running the correct program? Can you try uninstalling and reinstalling?
and please stop shouting at us...

It seems that the only way I can get into the program "create" (that shows the REUNION song) is to click "download" each time (Windows 7) which eventually gets me the wizard which then allows that page to come up. Once the page is up I can click on the toolbar "New" that gets me into the program. The Muse Score title page has nothing to click on to get you into the create mode, except by clicking on "download", and that works. thanks. The handbook doesn't tell you that, so you have to figure it out on your own. I can't just go to musescore, get into my account and suddenly "REUNION" appears. I didn't think I'd have to download ea. time but I do. Maybe you guys should make that clearer.

I think you are confused, but I still can't tell what is happening. MuseScore doesn't have a separate "create" mode That screen you see when you have a menu bar and palettes and can see the sample "Reunion" - that is MuseScore, the whole thing. There is no other mode. MuseScore always looks exactly like that. Whatever you are opening that is just showing a blue rectangle, that's not MuseScore. MuseScore always opens directly to the screen I have been dexcribing. I am guessing that maybe you are not actually opening MuseScore at all, but are instead trying to opem the installation program. Look around on your desktop for another icon that is the MsueScore program itself, and stop running the installer. You've already installed it, so the installer can be deleted now.

The only "Musescore in a big blue rectangle" I can see is on the website. The OP said something about only being able to download it to get it to work. I suspect he's not seeing the MuseScore icon on his desktop.
