How to create a quintole across a bar line?

Hello all,
can anyone please help me to create a quintole across a bar line in a song?
The bar ends on an eighth, tied to a half note in the next bar (both c'', tied). These are to be sung/connected as a quintole. Nothing I have tried so far has worked, as the tie does not seem to "count". If I activate the note before the bar line before choosing "Quintole", all I get is a 32th note followed by 4 x 32th pauses, and nothing extending to the next bar. Activating the note after the bar line gives me a quintole only for this half note, and restricted to this second bar.
Does Musescore offer this possibility of n-toles across bar lines at all? Of course I can use line text to add the "5" on top of a standard ligature bind for the printout, but of course that will not sound right when I play it.
On a second note, I am also looking for a way to create an interrupted ligature bind (either one or two notes sung, depending on song text). I did not find that in the palettes/menues eithers.
