Custom palette crashes on creation, when "more elements" is checked

MuseScore 2.0.2 / 2.1, Mac OS X 10.11.2

Steps to reproduce the error:

1. open a(ny) (new) file
2. create a custom palette and check "More Elements" in the creation dialog box
3. Drag any element to the new custom palette

Expected behaviour:
The element should be saved in the palette.

What really happens:
The program crashes.

P.S.:
This only happens with a newly created, empty palette and only, when "more elements" is checked.
Creating a custom palette WITHOUT "more elements" checked works perfectly fine.
Also, checking "more elements" once there are elements in the palette, will work, but according to this discussion: https://musescore.org/en/node/91716#comment-405896 it will create some chaos...
