Musescore 3 in windows 7 home basic 64 bit
Please help me to install musescore 3 in Windows 7 Home Basic 64 bit. I always have a problem when I install it. Please see attached file. Visual Basic c++ 2013 is already installed. i cannot install VB c++ 2015-2019 version. I am not sure if i install correctly the Microsoft.net 3.5 because it was not in program files. Please let me know how I can fix it. Thank you.

Are you installing/using the 32bit version of MuseScore or the 64bit one?
What happens if you try the other?
Does it work is you start MuseScore as Administrator?
Try getting and installing Microsoft Visual C++ Runtimes (v2005 – v2019) and .NET-Framework 4.8
Google for "0xc00007b windows 7 64 bit" and you'd find a lot of posible solutions

i installed both versions of Musescore. Doesn't work.
I runned as administrator.
I cannot install Microsoft Visual C++ Runtimes (v2005 – v2019) and .NET-Framework 4.8. It puts error.
I found that probably i have to install Windows 7 SP; my version si Win7 Home basic. I'm trying. That's maybe the solution.

YES It's finally working!
I had to install Windows 7 SP1.
Then i could install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015.
Desinstall and reinstall Musescore 3.4.2 and i could opened it.
Good to know for those who have an old computer as mine with Windows 7 home basic.

Well installing SP on Windows is always a good thing, MuseScore or not
