Cannot save files

Running Musescore with the latest update. When I try to save a file I recieve the error message

"Open Temp File C:/Rich/Documents/MuseScore3/Scores/Musescore2/Scores/Scores As_The_Deermscz.Temp Failed File Descripter".
So, I have to use "Save As" as opposed to just "save." When I go back to the file I discover that it was never saved and I have the pre-edited version.
This is happening with all files but I uploaded one for review.

When you use Save as... you are saving the score in a different location. You may have write privilege issues for the directory where you getting the error. Another problem is that the file name ending in .Temp is not a valid MuseScore file name.

Someone might know where it came from but I don't. The path looks like a Windows path to me and I use Windows myself. The important point I made is that Save as... is not replacing the file, it's creating a new file. You need to pay attention to where you are putting the file and open it from there so you will have your latest version of the score.

I know where the file is . Usually when I update a file the date changes where the file exist. Nothing happens, the original file remains in the location. It does not update because of the temp error. If I try to "save as" it does go to that same folder but it never informs me that another file exist with the same name. I click okay anyway and nothing happens. L have a work around which I will explain after I respond to the others.

When overwriting a file, MuseScore first creates a .temp file to save the score into. Then it removes and renames that temp file after a successful save to replace the original one.
This is done to minimize the time frame in which the file contents of the file with original filename is in an invalid state.

For some reason, windows is refusing MuseScore to create that temp file in that directory.

If you have the file open, you can go to Save to and it will indicate where the file presently is. Take note of that location and using the process of elimination, you might deduce where the file should be. Just ask yourself "Where was I working and where should this file have gone to?" Look in that folder and open that file. That might solve part of your problem, if you saved it but don't know where it is. This helps me because sometimes I incorrectly file something.

First, I would like to thank everyone who replied.
I am working around the issue by saving the file to a different folder. Next I go to that folder and press cut.
I go back to my original destination folder and press paste. It then replaces the older file.
There is obviously a problem with Musescore and Windows 10 at this time but at least there is a work around.
Hopefully it will get resolved.

Here is the solution

(for windows 10 or 11)
go to settings => Privacy and Security => Windows Security => Virus & Threat protection => Manage settings =>
Manage controll Folder access => Allow an app through controlled folder access => add allowed app => Recently blocked apps => Musescore
