How to have 3 staves named staff 1, 2 and 3?
So I saw from un sospiro that there are 3 staves are they are named 1,2 and 3 not 1,1 and 2 i was wondering how do to this? and they are all linked (the bracket covers all 3 staves)

Select one of the staves and click the button in the middle of the dialog that says "Add Staff." Do not click the "Add Linked Staff" button on a piano, this is used to make guitar tablatures and the like.
To "link" them (it's actually called grouping them), there should be a bracket already around the instruments staves in the score. If not open the Brackets palette, select the top staff and click the bracket in the palette. You can double click the bracket and drag the box that will appear at the bottom of it down to the bottom staff of the piano. You cannot extend it up if you put the bracket on the middle or bottom staff.

doing that gives me 1,1 and 2 staff did i do something wrong?

What version are you using? I don't remember it saying 1, 1 & 2 unless you are doing something I didn't mention like adding an instrument. This is 2 instruments:

I don't remember ever getting anything different than
staff 1
staff 2
staff 3
in any version 3.something.
