Try to put Wavy Glissando between E4 and C4, B3 and D4 and so on..
Wavy Glissando is not shown.
I’ve found this is happened in certain circumstances.
1. It happens when each bars are very narrow.
2. Two Notes are in third degree (ex, E and C, E and G)
3. Notes lower than E4

That sample score doesn't have any (wavy or not) glissandos
And this entire issue seems about space, your 1st point
Take the attached score and one by one delete the system breaks and watch the glissandos vanish

Ah, thanks, it’s a duplicate of it.
And yes, this is about spacing, my 1st point only.
What made me confused is existence of ledger line.
Ledger line makes glissandos even shorter and vanishing.
See the attached score and remove system breaks.
Only ledger lined notes glissandos will be vanished.
