Guitar Tab numbers not showing when exported as SVG
I am using MuseScore to make simple guitar tabs. I was making them and exporting them as SVG's and this has worked fine for months, maybe even a year now.
All of a sudden, the exports are just showing white boxes for the tab and not the numbers. I don't believe I've made any changes and this is happening on both my Windows PC and Mac laptop.
Any idea what could fix this issue? (I must export SVG's from musescore about 10 times a week so this is a real pain)

I am using version 3.5.2 - This happens with every SVG export I have done using Tab. I get the white boxes but no numbers in them. I also exported this as a PNG and I have the numbers showing in the boxes, so I assume it is something directly to do with the SVG export settings/code.

Well, we believe you that the SVG is bad, but asked for the score to be able to reproduce.
Anyway, not needed here anymore, but maybe in that issue

As mentioned it's a bug in the latest release, the export works correct with MS 3.5.0, but not anymore with MS 3.5.1 an 3.5.2

Okay thank you. Just confirming... my best bet is to uninstall, and reinstall an older version?

I might need to go older. 3.5.0 just had the same issue for me.

Yep, checked with OS: openSUSE Leap 15.1, Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.5.0, revision: 43c5553

Thank you. I must have done something else or have some other settings wrong then. As I'm not getting this to work with 3.5.0. Will keep diving and see if there is anything I can work out.
Confirmed. Export works correct with MS 3.5.0, so seems to be a regression.

Just had a look at this but couldn't make sense of the answers. all I could see was a couple of words and arrows. Am I missing something? it does accurately state what is happening though.

The claim there is that this is already fixed for the upcoming 3.6 release.

You can check it yourself by installing a nightly build to see if it works for you. But be aware, it is only for testing, not for daily use.
