Is there a way to limit the number of measures on a line?

I'm not a professional, so I don't know all the terminology. But I've searched the online handbook and can't find this. I'm transposing a hymn, and I'd like there to be five sets of lines with a limited number of measures on each line (in this case five). Is there a way to limit the measures on each staff section?

Sure, just select the measure you weant to end a system and hit Enter to add a system break, or use the Breaks & Spacers palette. If it's literally always exactly five measures - no pickups or voltas or split measures to throw things off as there might be with many hymns - you can use Format / Add/Remove System Breaks to do the whole score at once.

Particularly easy-peasy because once the measure is selected, or you've selected a child object of the measure, you can press the Return key to add MuseScore line break. In other words no need to use the palette.

Deleting is as simple as selecting the line break and pressing delete.
