OS: Windows 10 (10.0), Arch.: x86_64, MuseScore version (64-bit): 3.6.0.487915773, revision: 1977cb3

"Enable auto-size" should adjust the height of the frame according to the contents. However, the default height is set at 10 sp and will not adjust to a content height less than this.

"Enable auto-size" also needs to disable the "height" property. But, currently, it is still possible for the user to change the value by clicking on the adjustment handle and dragging up or down.

Comments

I suspect this is somewhat intentional, to easily allow existing title frames to be adapted. So 10sp is the default minimum, kind of like how autoplace has a minimum distance. Probably there could be a style setting to control this though.

That would defeat the purpose, which was to prevent users from creating scores where lots of text started spilling onto their staves and they didn't know how to fix it. Making them discover and check a box is little better than making them increase the frame size manually.
